Snow is what we woke up to this weekend. It began on Friday afternoon and by Saturday morning we had a couple of inches. This is the view from our back porch. I love this picture with all of God's beauty.
The snow kept us prisoners in the house all weekend long. We wanted to go out and sled but Jameson had a small cold so we didnt want to take him out there to make it worse. Plus our porch and the driveway were frozen solid. You literally could see about 1/2 inch of ice. Instead we decided to make it a LOST day. Jamey started a nice warm fire, we grabbed the blankets, cuddled, and we watched LOST all day long just for a recap. We are SOOOO excited that it returns this week but sad at the same time since it is the series finale. "The beginning of the end is here"
Jameson and I didnt make it through all the episodes, we kind of dozed off. This was partly due to our long morning. Someone, who shall remain nameless, decided that he wanted to wake up at 5:30am. He must have wanted us to know that he was 6 months old today.
This is a picture of our front yard and our cars covered with snow and ice that evening. I am definitley ready for the return of warm weather.
I wish the roads hadn't been SOLID ice! We could have played together :o) Glad you guys got a LOST day in...only a couple more days!
