Let's Get This Started-Round 1

As much confidence that I have in the Crusaders, I had no idea that the outcome would be what it was when the game clock went down to 00:00. The Crusaders took on Albany State from Georgia. The final score was 63-14 which is score that I am sure no one expected.

Jameson and Jack really enjoyed the game too!

Fridays before the game, Jamey has a team meeting, has a guest speaker, and the coaches make a short film to show the team to help get them motivated. One of the dad's players did a devotional about David and Goliath. Everyone knows the story of D&G, David's small size, Goliath's large stature. But what I am sure that many people do not know, including myself, was that David had 5 stones with him. One to use for Goliath and the other 4 to take down Goliath's brothers. Now whether you want to call it coincidence or just how God works, but there are 5 games that the Crusaders must play in order to win the title of D2 NCAA Champs. Saturday's game was the first stone, only 4 more to go!

Now that the Crusaders have made it past the first round, they take on Mars Hill College in NC at noon for the 2nd round. This will be a rematch between the two teams. MH was the Crusaders 4th game of the season and we lost 38-28. The Crusaders will definitely be ready this time.
