This man had it right....
We are playoff bound for the first time in NGU history! This past Sunday the team, as well as a few people that have helped the team along the way, met in the Hamlin Recital Bldg. We all gathered there waiting patiently for the hope of an announcement that the team would continue into the post season.
The majority of us got there at around 4:50pm. The announcement was scheduled at 5pm and those 10 minutes felt like the longest 10 minutes of my life! But finally the big announcement was made......
As you can see by the teams reaction, we made to the 1st round of the playoffs. We play Albany State (From Georgia) this Saturday at home, 1pm.
NGU has also received its highest ranking ever in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 national poll, coming in at #20 in the final poll of the regular season.
